RIYADH – Al Yasmin International School, well-known for its educational excellence, celebrated 20th Annual Day with utmost fervency. The bewitching ceremony held at Academic and Cultural Centre Al Jawdah Private Schools, Riyadh on Saturday 2nd February, showcased the holistic development of Yasminites. The grand occasion began with the Guests of honour Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali, President, All India United Society, Riyadh, Ibrahim Subhan, International Energy Forum, Dr. K. Rahamathulah, Principal and HOI, and other school officials receiving the Guard of Honour from the school band leader. It was followed by recitation and translation of the Holy Quran and school assembly. The welcome address was by Mrs. Asha Cherian, Headmistress, Girls’ Section, who also extended a floral welcome to the dignitaries.
Dr. K Rahamathullah, Principal and HOI, presented the Annual Report. He began his presentation by reminding the humble beginning of the school followed by the highlights of the school’s achievement in academics and co-curricular arenas till date. He also reiterated that the school always strives for excellence by providing a standardized teaching-learning process through activity-based XSEED methodology, New Generation Programmes, Self-Study, Students Enrichment Programme and the latest Yasmin Sports Academy.
Prize distribution ceremony and a plethora of programmes such as musicals and scintillating dance performances marked the 20th Annual Day celebrations. The energy and passion of the students were visible in their performances.
In his address, Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali, President, All India United Society, Riyadh, appreciated the Principal Dr. K Rahamathullah for taking bold steps of leaving no stone unturned for the benefits of the Yasminites and parent community. To mention a few were the reduction in the fee structure for the next academic year, the formation of Clubs, Sports Academy and Science Expo etc.
Congratulating the school on its 20th Annual Day, Ibrahim Subhan, International Energy Forum, lauded the riveting performances of the students and excellent services in the field of education.
Mrs. Nikath Anjum, Activity In charge, Girls’ Section proposed the formal vote of thanks. The glittering ceremony culminated by the singing of Saudi and Indian National Anthems. Thunderous applause and appreciation echoed in the auditorium witnessing the joyous celebration.
