RIYADH – Academic Excellence Award Ceremony was held at Yara International School for the students who topped the CBSE 10th and 12th Exams. The students who achieved distinguished results were awarded certificates and trophies. The students who scored 95% and above marks in the 10th class exams in Yara School are provided with a scholarship by the school. This year also a significant number of students benefitted from this scholarship.
It should be noted that Miss Stacy Ranit (97.8%) of Xth Class and Miss Sidra Tahseen (97.4%) of XIIth Class (Science stream) are the School toppers. On this occasion, Principal Ms. Asma Saleem conducted the swearing-in ceremony for the students’ cabinet formed through elections in the school. She thanked the students, school staff and parents present in the auditorium and praised them for raising the children to a high standard. She also appreciated the efforts of teachers, H.M., Vice Principal and School Management.
This year Haroon Hashim was elected as Head Boy and Huda Abu Bakr as Head Girl of the School cabinet. On this occasion, School Manager Khalid Al Drees, Chief Patron Habibur Rahman along with Mohammad Zaigham Khan Convener Riyadh Steering Committee, Research Scientist of King Saud University and former Chairman of IISR Dr. Dilshad Ahmed and Parvasi Bharatiya Saman Awardee Shihab Kottukad attended as distinguished guests and encouraged the children with good wishes.
