Dammam – The IEF Dammam Chapter hosted Engineers Day on the 15th of September 2024 at Hotel Wyndham Garden, Dammam. This grand event attracted a vibrant community of engineers, eager to learn, connect, and celebrate their profession.
The highlight of the evening was an insightful keynote address by Engr. Saqib Hussain, a seasoned expert in cooling towers and vacuum pumps. His talk, titled “Harnessing the Power of Vacuum Pumps: Applications Across Industries,” captivated the audience with detailed insights into the vital role these systems play in a variety of sectors. Engr. Hussain explored cutting-edge applications and the significant impact of vacuum technology on efficiency and sustainability in industrial processes.
The evening was hosted by Engr. Ghufran, with a warm welcome address delivered by Engr. Athar. Followed by Engr. Nadeem with a presidential address, sharing his thoughts on the significance of engineers in shaping a sustainable future and the role of innovation in today’s industry.
Special thanks go to the event’s organizers, including Engr. Shahid, who coordinated the entire event, and Engr. Rizwan, who managed the venue arrangements. The smooth registration process and guest coordination were efficiently handled by Engr. Touseef. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Engr. Asif Imami, who expressed appreciation to all contributors and attendees. The poster design for the event was beautifully crafted by Engr. Arsalan, adding a professional touch. Head of the event, Engr. Nadeem, played a pivotal role in overseeing the entire evening and ensuring its success.
Additionally, we were honoured to welcome guests from Dammam, Jubail, and Khobar, whose presence further enriched the atmosphere of collaboration and unity within the engineering community.
The Q&A session that followed the keynote saw engaging discussions, with attendees actively participating and raising thoughtful questions. This interactive segment underscored the curiosity and passion for innovation within the engineering community.
Attendees also had the opportunity to network, introducing themselves and sharing experiences, further fostering professional relationships among peers.
The event concluded with a delightful dinner, where participants continued to share ideas and build connections in a relaxed atmosphere.
