
JEDDAH – The Indian Doctors Medical Forum Jeddah (IDMF) recently hosted a Medical Awareness Program centered on general health education to inform and empower the local community. The event included an interactive session and a medical camp offering essential health screenings. The newly established Medical Association, led by Consul General H.E. Fahad Ahamed Khan Suri, is dedicated to enhancing the welfare and well-being of the Indian community in the region.

- Spearheaded by Dr. Ashfaq Maniar, President of IDMF Jeddah: The Medical Awareness Program featured informative discussions on a range of health-related topics conducted by medical professionals and experts. Dr. Revathy, Vice President of IDMF, explained the objectives of the medical camp to the participants, who actively engaged in meaningful conversations, posed questions, and gained valuable insights into leading a healthy lifestyle. - Efficient Organization by Dr. Mohamed Saleem, Secretary of IDMF Jeddah: The medical camp enabled attendees to undergo essential health screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar level checks. Dr. Farheen Taha, Joint Secretary of IDMF, emphasized the significance of these screenings, noting that they offered individuals crucial insights into their health status. She also stressed the importance of regular health check-ups and the early detection of potential health issues, reinforcing the program’s goal of promoting proactive healthcare within the community.
- Support from Ascencia Diabetic Care: The program was bolstered by the support of Ascencia Diabetic Care, which distributed free glucometers to around 200 attendees who were referred by their doctors.
- Warm Welcome and Supportive Messages: Dr. Iqbal Musani warmly welcomed the audience, while Mr. Shri Kamlesh Kumar Meena, Consul (Labour), emphasized the mission and services of IDMF during his felicitation speech. Dr. Naeem played a key role in coordinating the event, and Mr. Siraj, a community member, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters for making the initiative a success.
