Jeddah – In a compelling initiative aimed at fostering health awareness in educational settings, the Indian Doctors Medical Forum (IDMF) KSA conducted an enlightening session with educators from the International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ). Led by Dr. Khaja Yaminuddin, a respected Diabetes Care Specialist and IDMF’s Vice President of Public Relations and Communication, the event underscored the pivotal role educators play in promoting health consciousness among students and themselves.
During the session, Dr Yaminuddin emphasized that health awareness is a fundamental factor in ensuring overall well-being and academic success. He also advocated for adopting healthy habits, notably the importance of concluding meals by 8:00 PM to support a balanced lifestyle. The teachers engaged actively, posing pertinent questions that reflected their commitment to integrating wellness education into their classrooms.

The session proved to be a source of inspiration, encouraging educators to become proactive advocates for health awareness. Their newfound insights are expected to positively impact their students, families, and the broader community.
A distinguished lineup of IISJ leadership attended the event, including Principal Dr Mohammad Imran, Vice Principal (Boys Section) Mr Abdul Haque, Vice Principal (Girls Section) Mrs Farah Masood, and various Heads of Department from different academic blocks.
IDMF remains dedicated to its mission of making a significant difference in the community through health education and social initiatives. IDMF President Dr Ashfaq Maniyar, a renowned ophthalmologist, alongside General Secretary Dr Saleem, IISJ Managing Committee Chairman Dr Revathy, Vice President IDMF, and Joint Secretary IDMF Dr Farheen Taha, have previously spearheaded impactful programs such as an Eye Screening Camp at IISJ, followed by a Diabetes Camp.
