RIYADH — Success XI, the dynamic cricket outfit representing the Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), continued their commanding run in the Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Naser T20 Tournament, securing their fifth consecutive win to book a place in the semi-finals. Their latest triumph, an 18-run victory over Yaran CC in a high-octane quarter-final, highlighted the team’s cohesion, depth, and individual brilliance.
Electing to bat first, Success XI posted a competitive 180 all out in 20 overs, thanks largely to a power-packed 65 off 35 balls by tournament star Naveed Ali Arshi, whose innings featured eight boundaries. Arshi, who has consistently topped the run charts for his team, was named Player of the Match. He found able support in Abul Hassan Sadique, who contributed a fluent 50 off 31 balls, punctuated by four fours and a six. Together, the pair took Success XI past the 150-run mark, laying the foundation for a strong total. Earlier, opener Mohammed Ramzan Ibrahim had set the tone with a steady 20 off 25 deliveries.
Yaran CC responded spiritedly but fell short, managing 162 for 7 in their 20 overs as Success XI’s bowlers kept the pressure on throughout the innings.

The campaign began in emphatic fashion, with Success XI demolishing Combined Stars CC by a margin of 110 runs. Opener Mohammed Ramzan Ibrahim stole the spotlight with a near-century knock—98 runs off 53 balls featuring 12 fours and three sixes. He was ably supported by Asif Butt (61 off 33), while Abul Hassan, Azam Khan Lala, and Naveed Arshi added valuable cameos. The bowling unit, spearheaded by Tameemul Hassan (2/11) and Zameem Abrar (2/19), sealed a resounding victory.

REGC Blasters 160 all out (15.4 overs) lost to Success XI 164/4 (18.3 overs)
Success XI chased down the target with six wickets in hand. Asif Butt again led the charge with a fluent 55 off 31 balls, supported by solid contributions from Naveed Arshi (34), Abul Hassan (32), and Ramzan Ibrahim (31). The bowling hero was Nabeel Hassan, whose devastating spell of 5/24 rattled the REGC lineup. Chasing a challenging total, Success XI displayed class under pressure. In-form opener Mohammed Ramzan Ibrahim crafted a composed 61 off 43 balls, while Naveed Arshi added 52 in yet another match-winning effort. Abul Hassan (32*), held firm to steer the team past the finish line. Nabeel Hassan once again shone with the ball, returning figures of 4/20 to restrict Blitz CC’s charge.
Fourth Match – May 16, 2025
Success XI 248/4 (20 overs) def. Friends CC 175 all out (17.4 overs)
Batting first after winning the toss, Success XI unleashed an aggressive onslaught, led by openers Muhammad Ramzan (33 off 19) and Qaiser Mehmood (37 off 19). But it was the middle-order fireworks from Abul Hassan Sadique (93 off 44 balls, including 10 fours and 4 sixes) and Naveed Arshi (61 off 36) that took the game beyond Friends CC. Abul Hassan’s dazzling innings earned him Player of the Match honors. The bowling attack ensured Friends CC fell well short of the mammoth target.
