
JEDDAH – In a historic function held at IISJ which were attended by leading scientists, educators and community members, marking a new chapter in academic excellence, the IISJ has launched the International Scientific Society for Advanced Academic and Career Counselling (ISSAACC) a transformative platform that will offer students global scientific exposure, practical mentorship, and career guidance.
The event commenced with a welcome address by IISJ Principal, Dr. Mohammad Imran, who underscored the power of curiosity backed education and the need for future engrossed platforms.
Taking the ceremony to its defining moment, Dr. Prince Mufti Zia, Founding Director of ISSAACC, member of the IISJ Managing Committee, and the main architect of this event, presented the society’s vision—an inspiring call to action for students to convert their passion for science into groundbreaking innovations, fuelling progress for both community and nation.Addressing the gathering, Professor Anwar Bilgrami, Chief Patron of ISSAACC, highlighted the society’s mission and called upon students to develop a strong scientific spirit and channel their creativity into purposeful revolution.
Highlighting ISSAACC’s relevance, Abdul Ghafoor Danish, Media and Outreach Adviser, pinpointed the need to broaden students’ career outlook, moving beyond traditional paths like medicine and inspiring them to chase diverse and rewarding futures. Financial Adviser Nooruddin Khan highlighted ISSAACC’s mission of concocting young Indians to play a dynamic role in the country’s global headway in science and technology.
Guest of Honor Professor Javed Mussarat, Vice Chancellor of Integral University, Lucknow, inspired students through his keynote address, urging them to dream big, set their career paths early, and follow them with dedicated focussing.
The event also echoed the message of the Consul General of India in Jeddah, H E Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, delivered by Chief Guest Mohammad Hashim, Consul (Commerce and PIC). HE Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri praised IISJ for this idealistic and visionary initiative and endorsed the Consulate’s commitment to supporting efforts that empower Indian youth.
Extending their wholehearted support, IISJ Managing Committee Chairman Dr. Mohammed Abdul Saleem and members Dr. Mohammed Shafee, Dr. Nusrat Khan, Dr. Farheen Ameena Taha, Dr. Zubair Hameed, and Dr. Hemalatha Mahalingam hailed ISSAACC as a transformative step forward for IISJ and a source of pride for the Indian community in Jeddah.During the event, the ISSAACC website was hurled to guide student participation, and the “Young Scientist Program” was announced with an initial SR5,000 grant for research proposals. Advisory board members, most of them ranked among the world’s top 2 percent of scientists, committed to actively mentoring IISJ students.

The launch of ISSAACC at IISJ ushers in a new era of student empowerment, thereby, with the guidance of world-class scientists, community leaders, and school leadership, the initiative is set to inspire and contour the next generation of innovators, researchers, and leaders who will drive scientific progress and strengthen India’s global standing.
