Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Indian expatriate community in Saudi Arabia celebrated a remarkable milestone as the International Indian Professionals Association (IIPA), in collaboration with Yara International School, hosted FutureX 2025, an interschool science expo dedicated to innovation and young talent.
The event drew over 600 participants and showcased more than 120 pioneering projects, reflecting the creativity and technical brilliance of Indian students in the Kingdom. From AI-powered assistive devices and bionic arms to smart waste-management models, students presented ideas that combined technology with social impact.
The day began with the national anthems of Saudi Arabia and India, symbolizing friendship and cultural harmony. Mr. Mujahid Ali delivered the welcome address, setting an inspiring tone for the event.
Key sessions included “Who Am I? Exploring Personality” by Mr. Kaleem Syed, and a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Technology, Innovation, and the Future of Education,” featuring Er. Farhan Hashmi, Mr. Furqan Ahmed, and Prof. Farooq Adil, moderated by Mrs. Juwaria.
Er. Hashmi highlighted the importance of coupling artificial intelligence with human creativity, resilience, and spiritual growth.
Mrs. Sushma Shan’s session, “Unlocking the Student Superpower,” guided students on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and focus—skills vital for academic success.
In his presidential address, Dr. Shafeeq Ahmed, President of IIPA, urged the young innovators to serve humanity:
“Let science unite, not divide. Let your discoveries bring dignity and peace to all.”

Junior Category: Gas Leakage Alarm Notification System – Umaima & Inaya (MMEIS)
Middle Category: Waste Management Solution – Aaira Falak (Alif School)
Senior Category: Navi Axis Project – Nafeesa Khan (Al Yasmeen)
Principals and mentors were also honored for fostering scientific curiosity and guiding students to excellence.
