AMUOBA Jeddah Sets New Benchmark for Youth Empowerment
Jeddah – The AI & Data Science Workshop, a highly successful initiative organized by the Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys’ Association (AMUOBA) Jeddah Chapter in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, Jeddah, concluded recently, drawing massive participation and setting a powerful trajectory for future-focused learning among youth.
The workshop transformed the IISJ auditorium into a hub of innovation, with more than 600 enthusiastic students filling the venue, signaling a strong appetite for next-generation technological skills.

The program commenced with warm and motivating opening remarks from Engr. Aqeel Jamil, President of AMUOBA Jeddah, who underscored the association’s commitment to community upliftment and educational excellence. Following this, Dr. Imran, Principal of IISJ, provided a clear and engaging overview of recent developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence, captivating the young audience.
The highlight of the event was the inspiring address delivered by H.E. Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India. Speaking directly to the students, H.E. Mr. Suri emphasized the crucial need for early preparation for the era of AI and stressed the importance of aligning individual goals with the national vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India), providing a clear and motivational roadmap for their future careers.

- Prof. M. M. Sufiyan Begh delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on Artificial Intelligence. If you are not intelligent, no machine can help you.” This quote resonated deeply, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of human intelligence in the age of machines.
- Prof. Emmanuel Nyakwende followed with an illuminating talk on Data Science, effectively explaining how it forms the backbone of modern innovation and making complex data concepts relatable and understandable for the young attendees.
