JEDDAH — In a landmark move for the Indian diaspora, expatriates from the Telangana region residing in Western Saudi Arabia have officially established the Telangana International Association (TIA). To mark its inception, a high-level delegation recently met with the Consul General of India in Jeddah, H.E. Fahad Khan Suri, to present the association’s vision and organizational structure.
The TIA serves as a unified umbrella for several long-standing and prominent Telangana-based organizations in Jeddah. During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Consul General on its mission to strengthen Telangana’s cultural footprint in the Kingdom and provide a cohesive platform for social welfare.
A Vision for Community and Culture
The establishment of the TIA represents a significant advancement in organized community support for the Gulf-based Telangana diaspora. The association’s primary objectives include:
