Riyadh — Darul Ilm Madrasa successfully organized a dynamic and engaging Students’ Talent Program at Al-Shifa, Riyadh, drawing a large audience of students, parents, educators, and community leaders. The full-day event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in an atmosphere grounded in Islamic values.
Established in 2010 as the only Kannada-speaking madrasa under the Riyadh Indian Islahi Center—supervised by the Islamic Dawah & Guidance Department of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs—Darul Ilm Madrasa has grown to accommodate students from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and various parts of India. It offers English-medium Islamic education through both offline and online modes.
The program featured an array of captivating performances, including public speeches, Islamic songs, solo presentations, and children’s stage programs. A highlight of the event was a thought-provoking group discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of mobile and internet usage, presented by the ladies, which resonated deeply with the audience. The traditional Daff performance by madrasa students added a rhythmic and cultural element to the day’s proceedings.

Presiding over the stage program was Haneef Bardila, President of Riyadh KSF. A significant moment came with the powerful address by Osama Muhammad on the centrality of Tawheed in Islam. He emphasized:
“Any deviation from the principle of Tawheed is seen as one of the gravest errors in the sight of Allah. One who dies without upholding Tawheed faces true loss in the Hereafter.”
The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed guests, including Mr. Abdul Razak Swalahi, Mr. Zulfikar, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, and Dr. & Adv. P.A. Hameed Padubidri. The seamless flow of the program was expertly managed by the skillful compering of Mr. Moosa Talapady (Ex-President, Riyadh KSF) and Mr. Arshad Moosa.
In addition, several KSF Riyadh office bearers—including former President Ayyub Kalai, Ashraf Talapady, Mansoor Katipalla, Abdul Jabbar Krishnapura, Abbas Bardila, Farook Kalai, Hameed K.C. Road, Abdul Basith, and others—were in attendance, reaffirming strong community support for the program.
The event reflected Darul Ilm Madrasa’s commitment to fostering students’ intellectual and cultural growth while reinforcing the principles of Islamic education. The overwhelming participation and enthusiastic response from attendees further highlighted its significance in the educational and community landscape of Riyadh.
