Al Yasmin International School, Riyadh celebrated 21 years of its formation


RIYADH – Al Yasmin International School, Riyadh recently hosted an Iftar gathering to celebrate the twenty-one years of excellence and an incredible sense of unity among the school community. It was a unique and poignant pleasure for everyone as it was an opportunity to come together in the spirit of respect and tolerance, to share the richness of beliefs, and to enjoy the traditions of hospitality. The function was graced by the Guest of Honors, Dr. Ashraf Ali, President All India United Society, Dr. Abdul Azeez, Founder Subair Kunju Foundation, Ibrahim Subhan, International Energy Forum, Shihab Kottukad, renowned Social Worker, Ubaid Edvanna, Media Forum and others

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. K. Rahamatullah, Principal who also extended a floral welcome to the dignitaries. In his speech, Dr. K Rahamatuallah thanked the Management for organizing the Iftar event as it strengthened the ties between school and the community. Expressing the feeling of joy and bliss for the sterling performance of the Yasminites, Dr. K Rahamatuallah also conveyed that the moment was perfect to celebrate success. He also hailed the staff, students and the parents for 100 percent achievement.
The welcome speech was followed by the award ceremony to felicitate the meritorious students who brought laurels to the school in the recent CBSE X and XII Board Examination.

Trophies, certificates and gifts were bestowed on them. The class teachers and the subject teachers of X and XII were recognized and honored for their commendable contribution.
Awards were also conferred upon the decadians and the quindecennial who made an enormous impact on the growth of the organization. The decadians who were feted for their outstanding dedication included Dr. K. Rahamatullah, Principal, Askar Ali, Department of Arabic, Saifudheen, Yasar Arafath and Shoukath Ali, Department of Transport. Mrs. Saleena Beevi, HOD, Malayalam, Mrs. Azra Parveen, HOD, Urdu and Mr. Mohammed Ali, Front Office were the quindecennial who were honored for their unwavering commitment and relentless service.

The dignitaries in their speech congratulated the awardees and lauded the Principal and the school for maintaining the legacy of excellence in academics. Mrs. Asha Cherian, Head Mistress, Girls’ Section proposed the vote of thanks.
