RIYADH – A thoughtful discussion on ‘Diaspora Literature’ was held at Alif International School, Riyadh. The event titled Alif Literary Fest’24 was organized in connection with the 15th anniversary celebrations of Alif International School. The program aimed to foster the literary curiosity of the viewers. In a thought-provoking session, a distinguished panel of authors and literary critics like Joseph Athirungal, Sabeena M Sali, M Faisal and Najeeb Kochukalunk came together to discuss the evolving landscape of diaspora literature and its future prospects. Beena, the author of Ossathi, was the moderator and she led the proceedings.

Alif Book Fair ’24, set up in the campus in connection with Alif Literary Fest’24, was an open space for all readers to purchase the best sellers in Malayalam and English. The sights of obtaining books of their choice from the stalls were remarkable and reflected the enthusiasm of readers for staying tuned with words and letters. Luqman Ahmed, CEO of Alif Group of Schools inaugurated the Book Fair. Principal Muhammed Musthafa delivered welcome address. Noushad Nalakath, Head Master of Boys Section, Ali Bukhari, Administrator, Kamar Banu, Anas Karayil, Sandya Shaji were present at the function.
