RIYADH – Al Yasmin International School in Riyadh recently organized an exciting Inter-House Cricket Tournament, showcasing the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its students. The event saw four houses—Amber, Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby- compete in thrilling matches. Amber House emerged victorious in the Final Match, clinching the coveted Championship Trophy, while Sapphire House secured the runner-up position.
The tournament, held at the Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) ground, provided students with a platform to display their athletic skills and sportsmanship. Jineesh Mathew, Head of the Department of Physical Education, emphasized the importance of such events in fostering talent and personal growth. “These tournaments offer our young athletes the chance to shine and prove themselves on the field. Several promising players among our students have the potential to compete at the national and international levels,” he said.
The enthusiasm and energy displayed by the participants throughout the tournament were a testament to their passion for the sport and the school’s commitment to promoting physical fitness.
The school management extended their gratitude to the RCL committee for their invaluable support in organizing the event and providing the facilities.
