MADINAH – Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan welcomed the first convoy of Indian Haj pilgrims at Madinah Airport. Along with the Ambassador of India, Saudi Minister of Transport & Logistic Services H.E. Saleh Al Jasser and Vice Haj Minister H.E. Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat were also present to welcome the Indian pilgrims on behalf of the Kingdom.
It should be noted that last Monday, a high-level delegation of the Ministry of External Affairs of India visited the kingdom to review the arrangements made for the Indian Haj pilgrims. The delegation was led by Maktish Pardeshi, Secretary (CPV & OIA). Joint Secretary Asim Mahajan and Asim Anwar were also included in this delegation. Muktesh Pradeshi is the successor of India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, who stepped down last September.
Indian pilgrims who have reached Madinah will go to Makkah to perform the rites of Hajj before Hajj. He will return home from Jeddah after achieving the blessings of Hajj.
