Vibrant Goa

GOA – The second edition of the Vibrant Goa Business Exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 200 international delegates and 200 exhibitors based in Goa. The event, supported by the Government of Goa, showcased Goa’s unique potential as a hub for both business and leisure.

The Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) Jeddah, under the patronage of the Consul General of India, facilitated a distinguished business delegation led by Vijay Soni to Goa. Delegates experienced a seamless blend of productive business meetings during the day and lively, entertaining evenings hosted by the Vibrant Goa team. Comprehensive local arrangements, including airport transfers and accommodations, ensured that all Saudi delegates felt welcomed and cared for throughout their stay.

A distinctive feature of the event was the Student Intern Buddy Program, a concept unique to Goa. Each delegate was paired with a student buddy to assist with meetings, visits, and other logistics, creating a warm and homely atmosphere for the participants.

The event also witnessed the creation of three world records, further cementing its legacy. These records included the presence of delegates from 45 countries spinning the wheel together, a stunning 102-meter-long handwoven Kumbi Saree, and the remarkable feat of assembling a wooden house within 12 hours at the venue.

The event culminated in several significant achievements, including Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in areas such as healthcare, defense equipment, unique wooden houses, eyeglass manufacturing, and the establishment of a skill development institution. These agreements reflected the strong business potential between Goa and Saudi Arabia.

Manoj Patil, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Chief Minister’s Office of Goa, extended heartfelt thanks to Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India, for his timely support in facilitating the delegation. Jagat Shah, Chief Mentor of the program, expressed his commitment to replicating this success story for possible Vibrant Saudi Arabia. Special thanks letters were issued by President Vibrant Goa to H.E. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri and SIBN GS Vijay Soni.

The Vibrant Goa team honored delegates for their invaluable contributions to the success of the event, including Vijay Soni (GS-SIBN), Dr. Mahmoud Gibaly (Advance Medico), Ahmed Ibrahim (Albatel Consulting), Naim Ahmed (New Look Contracting), CA R.K. Jain, Abdul Rahman Mohd, and Mahmoud Abdelraouf (IT Services) and Zakariya Biladiwala (MSS).
