Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan on Tuesday met the members of the Saudi-Indian Parliamentary Friendship Committee. The meeting at the Saudi Shura Council was chaired by His Highness Khaled Mohammed Al-Bawardi. The Ambassador was accompanied by other Embassy officials. H.E. Chairman Al-Bawadi welcomed the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and wished him success in his tenure.
On this occasion, they discussed issues of mutual interest, and the strengthening of relations between the two countries and praised the Indo-Saudi Strategic Partnership. The members also agreed to increase parliamentary exchanges between the two countries. The delegations also discussed various issues such as tourism, medicine, trade and investment between the two countries.
Several other members of the Saudi-Indian Parliamentary Friendship Committee attended the meeting. They interacted and exchanged views with the Indian Ambassador Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan on means to strengthen the Indo-Saudi Strategic Partnership in various fields like tourism, trade, investments, pharmaceuticals etc.
