RIYADH – Eng. M. A. Nayeem, GM MASAH Specialized Construction Company set a great humanitarian example by assisting Jitendra Kumar in getting out of prison. Jitender Kumar, a resident of Meerut Uttar Pradesh India, was employed as a driver in Saudi Arabia. While on duty in suburbs of Riyadh, one speeding car hit his parked vehicle. The woman in the speeding car died on the spot. The court found him guilty with 25% mistake due to improper parking while the speeding car had 75% fault. Kumar’s vehicle was not insured at the time of accident. Paying the fine was beyond the reach of poor Jitendra. Due to which he was lingering in jail for the last eight years.
Officials of the Indian Embassy in Riyadh informed the well-known social worker Shihab Kottukad about this. He contacted some social activists including Dr. Ashraf Ali and a well-known philanthropist and businessman Eng. Mohammed Abdul Nayeem.
Eng. Nayeem, who helped many people, immediately agreed to help Kumar and paid the fine. With the help of Indian embassy officials, social workers cleared his case and processed required documents. Finally Jitendra Kumar returned back to India on Sunday, 8th October 2023.
Eng. Nayeem belongs to Telangana State of India. He has been living in Saudi Arabia for a long time. He is the General Manager of MASAH Specialized Construction Co. which is one of the ten largest companies in the Kingdom.
