JEDDAH – The Indian Consul general in Jeddah Muhammad Shahid Alam, recently held a reception at the Hotel Park Hyatt Jeddah on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day. The ceremony was attended by a large number of members of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to the Kingdom, led by His Excellency Ambassador Mazen bin Hamad Al-Hamli, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, in addition to few prominent community, members from the Indian diaspora, an elite group of businessmen and women and the media persons. The ceremony included the cake cutting ceremony followed by few dance performances, which were appreciated by all the attendees.
Indian Consul General Mohammed Shahid Alam and his wife Dr. Shakeela welcomed all the diplomats and guest at the reception.
The reception ended with the sumptuous dinner at the outer side of Hotel Park Hyatt Jeddah near the King Fahad fountain.
