JEDDAH — High achievement and cultural vibrance took center stage at the International School Jeddah (IISJ) during its highly anticipated Annual Award Presentation Ceremony. Held at the Boys’ Section auditorium, the grand event celebrated the academic and co-scholastic triumphs of the 2025–2026 academic year. Students, parents, educators, and community leaders gathered to recognize the milestones of a stellar student body.
Founded in 1969 under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, and the Indian Embassy, IISJ stands as one of the oldest and largest expatriate educational institutions in the Kingdom. It currently provides comprehensive CBSE-curriculum education to thousands of Indian nationals residing across Jeddah.
Diplomatic Dignitaries and Inspiring Leadership
The ceremony was graced by the Consul General of India in Jeddah, Shri Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, who attended as the Chief Guest. Notable dignitaries included Madam Fahmeena Khan, Madam Abeda Khatoon, and School Managing Committee (SMC) Chairman Dr. Muhammed Aslam. School Head Boy Master Muaaz Ziya Ul Haq and Head Girl Miss Afsana Fathima opened the event with traditional floral welcomes.
Principal Dr. Muhammed Imran presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s continuous institutional growth. Dr. Muhammed Aslam then took the podium to emphasize the delicate balance of academic innovation and discipline. During his keynote address, Consul General Suri shared personal insights on mentorship. He reminded the audience that awards celebrate milestones but do not limit a child’s unique future potential.



Celebrating Top-Tier Academics and Global Sports
The school honored outstanding achievements across Classes VI through XII with formal certificates and commemorative photos. In the All India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE) Class XII Board examinations, Miss Safa Mohiuddin Khan clinched the top spot with a remarkable 98.8 percent. Miss Aysha Naureen Jamal secured second place at 98 percent, while Master Abdul Rahman Bin Ehtesham placed third with 97.8 percent. For the Class X AISSE examinations, Master Ayaan Mahfouz emerged as the institutional topper with an elite 99.2 percent, followed closely by Miss Nirja Rambhaji Gayake at 98.8 percent and Master Ahon Roy at 98.6 percent.
Bilateral excellence extended far beyond the classroom into regional and global sporting arenas. Miss Amina Reham received special honors for claiming gold in both the Under-19 Singles Kingdom Championship and the Elite Championship. Master Muhammed Hussain was celebrated for his selection to the Saudi Arabia Under-19 national cricket team, representing the Kingdom at the ACC Premier Cup in the UAE. Creative accolades went to Master Yahya Nasrul Islam for designing the cover of the upcoming school diary. The memorable evening concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Bushra Khatoon Zaidi, following a captivating Kathak dance and a live performance by the School Music Club.
