Riyadh – Dunes International School, Riyadh, showcased an impressive display of sporting excellence by qualifying for the CBSE Cluster Level Competition in the Under-14 category for both Table Tennis and Badminton. The inter-school tournament, held at the International Indian School, Riyadh on April 21, 2026, witnessed intense and spirited competition among several prominent schools in the region.
Demonstrating remarkable skill, determination, and teamwork, the students of Dunes International School outperformed many strong contenders, securing the second position in Badminton and third position in Table Tennis. Their outstanding performance has earned them a well-deserved place in the upcoming cluster-level championship.
In Badminton, the talented and agile players—Ms. poornimendu Namitha Shijith (Grade 6), Ms. Zeba Fahad Ghouse (Grade 7), Ms. Lauryn Kate Cyriac (Grade 8), and Ms. Fazilah Ayesha Hussain (Grade 8)—displayed exceptional coordination, swift reflexes, and strategic gameplay to emerge victorious.
Similarly, the Table Tennis team, comprising the focused and technically adept players Ms. Laila Shabeer (Grade 8), Ms. Irem Maria (Grade 5), and Ms. Bala Karithika Reddy (Grade 7), demonstrated commendable precision, quick footwork, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.


The winners were warmly received and felicitated by the Principal, Mrs. Sangeetha Annup, who congratulated the students on their commendable achievement. In her address, she appreciated their unwavering dedication and perseverance, stating that the students had put in immense effort and discipline to reach this milestone.
