TIA Sets Benchmark in Community Service
Jeddah – In a heartwarming and well-organized initiative, the Telangana International Association (TIA) based in jeddah, saudi Arabia, extended a grand and memorable welcome to 400 pilgrims (Hujjaj) arriving from Hyderabad, Telangana, at the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah. The historic moment was marked by the arrival of Flynas flight XY8210 at 8:30 AM, carrying pilgrims embarking on their sacred journey.
Demonstrating its commitment to community welfare and pilgrim support, TIA organized a special welcome activity at the airport. Each pilgrim was greeted with thoughtfully prepared welcome kits that included a Janemaz (prayer mat), digital Tasbeeh, and Tawaf counter ring—items aimed at assisting them throughout their Hajj rituals. Additionally, snack kit bags were distributed to the arriving passengers, ensuring comfort after their long journey.
This noble initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of community members and the dedicated efforts of TIA Board members. A total of 400 items were distributed during the event, reflecting the scale and sincerity of the effort.
The success of the event was greatly supported by H.E. Fahad Khan Suri, Consul General of India in Jeddah, along with the cooperation of Consulate staff stationed at the airport, whose assistance ensured smooth execution of the program.
TIA office bearers & Community members including Chairman Dr. Saleem, Vice Chairman Dr. Mirza Qudrath Nawaz Baig, Director Community Welfare Farooq Ahmed, Associate Director Community Welfare Abdul Wahab, Associate Director Pilgrim Services Salman Jibran, Chief Secretary Imran Kausar, and Dr. Sufyan Hamid, all of whom contributed significantly to the successful execution of the initiative. A prominent community figure, Mr. Shameem Kausar, also joined the activity and actively participated in welcoming the pilgrims.
Adding a vibrant and emotional touch, young volunteers Master Afan, Miss Sidrah, and Miss Safa participated with great enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of service and community involvement among the younger generation.



TIA, known for its wide-ranging initiatives in community welfare, education, health, sports, cultural activities, business networking, and Telugu language promotion, once again demonstrated its dedication to serving humanity. The welcome initiative at the Hajj Terminal stands as a shining example of unity, compassion, and organized community service.
The pilgrims expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome and thoughtful arrangements, marking the beginning of their spiritual journey with comfort and positivity.
Earlier, the first batch of Telangana pilgrims was ceremoniously flagged off at Hajj House in Hyderabad, in the presence of Telangana Minister for Minority Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin and Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani, Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee.
The sendoff was also graced by Syed Azmathullah Hussaini, Chairman of the Telangana State Wakf Board; and B. Shafiullah, IFS, Secretary, Minorities Welfare Department, along with religious scholars and other dignitaries. Syed Mohammed Khaled Hussain, Director of Pilgrim Services, TIA, was also present during the send-off ceremony for the pilgrims.
